McCready Beats Costello
In a professional wrestling match in the Auckland Town Hall on Saturday evening, Earl McCready (Canada) executed a perfect back-loop slam to gain the decision over Al Costello. (Australia). This fall was obtained in the fifth round, and although Costello staggered out of his corner at the gong for the sixth round it was obvious that he could not continue, and the referee (Mr J. McLean) raised McCready’s arm to save Costello further punishment.— (P.A.)
