LONDON, Sept. I.—“ The Russians recently brought back from captivity in Russia a group of Wehrmacht generals for employment in the Sovietzone German police,” says the Berlin correspondent of “The Times. “This force is a para-military force. Two senior generals of the so-called police are Germans, Major-General Hans Wulz and Major-General von Weech. They have been joined by Generals Lattmann, Freitag, Ulex and Heinemann.” v. The Berlin correspondent of the Daily Telegraph reports that Sovietzone police units are armed with ma “ chine-guns, automatic pistols, and rifles. One unit is reported to. be equipped with anti-tank rifles, and an unconfirmed report says that other units have tanks.
