COASTWISE MOVEMENTS The Storm sailed yesterday with coal for Wellington. The Karu was unable to sail on the early-morning tide because of rough seas on the bar. She is now scheduled to sail this afternoon with coal for Miramar. The Omana is due at 10 p.m. to load coal for Auckland. The Kaimai is due from Wellington tomorrow to load coal for return. The Kiwitea is expected from Auckland on Thursday to load coal for Napier and Gisborne. THE WEATHER, Forecast: Fair To Fine The following weather forecast was issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, at noon to-day:— Situation: An anti-cyclone east of New Zealand is moving’ away; a depression near Norfolk Island is moving southwards; a cold front is advancing across the Tasman Sea. Forecast to 5 p.m. tomorrow: Moderate easterly winds; weather fair to fine; cold night but moderate day temperatures. Further outlook: Rain.
