MOON’S PHASES. New Moon M'arch 23 4:34 a.m. ARRIVAL Saturday, March 22 Karu, m.v. (10.15 a.m.), 1044 tons, Gillan, from Wellington. Union Steam Ship Co., Ltd., agents. COASTWISE MOVEMENTS The Omana, with coal for Auckland, is still bar-bound. The Rata, loaded with coal for New Plymouth, is bar-bound. The Karu is loading coal for Miramar. The Poolta is due from Napier tomorrow to load coal for Wellington. The Holmlea, with coal for Castlecliff, will be ready for sea today, but is unlikely to sail because of bar conditions. The Storm is due from Wanganui tomorrow coal for Wellington. The Piri is expected tomorrow from Melbourne with a cargo of explosives. • 1 The Miro is due from Auckland on Friday with explosives. The Gabriella is scheduled to leave Wellington on Tuesday to load coal and timber at Greymouth for return.
