DOMINION CHIEFS IN

LONDON

(Rec. 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, August 2.

The New Zealand, and Australian Chiefs of the Air Staff, Air ViceMarshals A. de T. Nevill and George Jones, arrived at Northolt aboard an R.A.F. Transport Command York, to which thev transferred at Singapore from Air Vice-Marshal Jones’s Australian Air Force Dakota. Lord .Tedder and the New Zealand and Aust tralian Air Officers Commanding, Air Commodores M. W. Buckley and Ewart, greeted the air vice-marshals. Air Vice-Marshal Jones said the object of the visit was primarily to attend the conference of British and Dominion air chiefs which Lord Tedder was convening. ,;.
