NEW ZEALAND UNIONISTS ASTRAY NO WORLD BOYCOTT (PA) WELLINGTON, Aug. 2. As the boycott of goods to Spam has not been recommended by the World Federation of Trade Unions, the wool which has been the subject of a dispute in New Zealand is now likely to be loaded. According to advice received by the JSlew Federation of Labour from Mr. A. E. Monk, of‘Melbourne, the committee delegate for Australia.and New Zealand to the World Federation, the federation did discuss the boycott of goods for Spain, but the committee s ultimate declaration did not favour such action. , The executive of the New Zealand Transport Workers’ Federation, sitting at Wellington, carried a resolution supporting the resolutions of. the World Federation of Trade Unions in relation to Spain and supporting the action of the New Zealand Federation of Labour in seeking the advice of the World Federation, and also endorsing any action which the federation recommends should be taken to end the Franco regime in Spain.
