RELAXATION BY BRITISH GOVERNMENT ,

The Under Secretary of State for War, Lord Nathan, announced in the House of Lords that the Government had decided to relax the ban on the marriage of British servicemen and women of enemy nationality except in Japan, in cases where the reasons for the marriage were good and there were no security objections.
