AIR CORPORATION’S LIMITS Doubt whether the New Zealand National Airways Corporation will be permitted to operate a service be-? tween Melbourne and the South Island is expressed in a letter from the chairman of the corporation, Sir Leonard Isitt, received at a meeting of the Invercargill Chamber of Commercce. “Such a service would be deemed to be an international trunk service and as such would be subject to in-ter-Governmental agreement,” he said. “I think it is unlikely that the corporation would be permitted to operate it. The corporation’s activities will be limited to the operation of services within New Zealand and regional services to mandated and other , islands in the Pacific.”
