(Rec. 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, July 30. India defeated Sussex by nine wickets. Sussex, in the fil-st innings, scored 427 (Cox not out 234). India, second innings, 148 for one wicket (Modi hot out 72, Merchant 63). Cox batted for 290 minutes and hit one sixer and 20 fours. English County Matches LONDON, July 28.
