BOXING Woodcock Wins European Title
LONDON, July 29. The British heavy-weight champion, Bruce Woodcock, knocked out the Frenchman, Albert Renet, in the sixth round at Bellevue, Manchester, in a bout for the European heavyweight title. Woodcock had an advantage of 221 b in weight.
