TREASURE IN GARAGE IN HANOVER (Rec. 1 p.m.) HAMBURG, July 30. Fifteen trunks full of diamonds, believed to be from Antwerp, were found in a garage in Hanover, where they were left by a Wehrmacht unit a few hours before Germany’s surrender. The garage owner said nothing for a year and finally decided to inform the British Military Government. The treasure has been removed to the vaults of the Reichsbank in Hanover.
