New designs are being sought for Australian postage stamps and a premium of £5O will be paid for each accepted design, according to Senator Cameron, the Postmaster-Gen-eral. Typically Australian designs are requested, depicting local work or activities, outstanding works and achievements, and other suitable subjects. A special board will adjudicate and will select a maximum of 12 designs to be introduced as required.—Canberra, July 31,
