INDICTMENT BEFORE CRIME

TRIBUNAL NUREMBERG, July 30. Following Rudenko’s speech the tribunal proceeded to the case of six major Nazi Party organisations, which have been indicted as criminal. Two days have been allowed for hearing the witnesses of the oiganisations. Dr. Servatius, opening the defence of the Political Leadership Corps, submitted 12 groups of affidavits piepared from a total of 139,000 documents of prisoners in internment camps. . The tribunal’s decision on tne character of this corps will affect about 6000 Germans. The chief United States prosecutor, Mr Justice Jackson, who is flying back to the United States, said he planned to return early in September, “but that does not indicate that I think the decisions will be ready then.” '
