BEACHES BEING PATROLLED

The bodies of Alan Wright Ducker and Joseph Hazeldine, who are believed to have been drowned when Ducker’s launch drifted into the breakers off the North Beach and was .swamped on Monday evening, have not yet been recovered. The beaches north of Greymouth, at Cobden and Point Elizabeth, are being patrolled. One of the men on the launch has been positively identified as Ducker, while a hat washed ashore has been identified as belonging to Hazeldine who has not returned home since Monday.
