Restrictions Lifted
Restrictions on thq purchase of hew truck tyres will end on Thursday except for smaller sizes, also used on cars. Announcing this, the Minister of Supply, Senator Ashley, said control over car tyres would be relaxed as soon as the supply position justified it. Ample stocks of truck tyres would not be available immediately for all purposes.—Canberra; July 31.
