BRITISH REPLY TO REVISION

PROPOSALS “NOT SATISFACTORY” ALEXANDRIA, July 28. Britain’s reply to the recent Egyptian proposals for revision of the British-Egyptian Treaty was unsatisfactory, said one of the delegates after a two-hour meeting of the Egyptian delegation, at which the Prime Minister (Sidky Pasha) presided. The meeting was called to consider the British reply received from Lord Stansgate, leader of the British, delegation, on July 25. Sidky 'Pasha, after the meeting, which ‘was earlier described as decisive, said that the delegation would meet again on Wednesday. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry is meanwhile studying certain points in the British reply. ■ .
