ALARMING MENACE
TUBERCULOSIS SPREADING IN BAVARIA I (Rec. 11.40 a.m.) i FRANKFURT, July 29. ’ A Military Government health officer reported a 120 per cent, rise in tuberculosis among the Germans in Bavaria. New cases in the last five months had risen from 17 to 37 per 10,000' and the mortality rate had risen from 53 to 2.090 per 10.000. The medical officer said: “Tuberculosis is becoming an alarming menace.” . •
