CANDIDATES FOR AUCKLAND SEATS (P.A.) AUCKLAND, July 30. The recently-selected National Party candidate for the new Waita-kc-re seat, Mr. D. K. Dunbar, has withdrawn. In a letter to the electorate committee, Mr. Dunbar sajd that owing to entirely unforeseen private circumstances he had found it impossible to continue as a candidate for Waitakere. It will now be necessary to call for further nominations and the entire selection procedure will take not less than five weeks. . Representatives of the national executive of the New Zealand Labour Party have arrived frdrn Wellington to confer with members .of the local Labour Representation Committee to choose candidates lor 10 of the Auckland city seats.
