WESTPORT Car Overturns Near Granity

A motor-car driven by James Young, of Millerton, while returning to Millerton from Westport on Saturday evening left the road about one and a half miles on the .Westport side of Granity and capsized into a drain, one of the rear tyres having blown out. There were four people in the car—Mrs. Jean Young and her husband, Robert Young, and Mrs. Catherine Young, wife of the driver of the car. Mrs. Jean Young, aged 60 years, suffered a. fractured collarbone and her husband injuries to a leg, hmad and head. Mrs. Young was admitted to the Buller Hospital and her condition is reported to be satisfactory. Mr. Young was treated at the pital but later discharged.
