RUGBY FOOTBALL Auckland Nominations for North Island
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, July 30. Mr. F. W. Lucas, sole selector, has nominated the followihg Aucklanders for inclusion in the North Island Rugby team to play South Island at Wellington on August 17:—. W. Edwards, front row •or lock; P. Crowley, side row; M. McHugh, lock or side row; D. Christian, back or front, row; R. Sorensqn, .full-back; J, Dunn, wing three-quarter; D. Barchard, .first five-eighth; P. Tetzlaff, half-back. The team will be selected by Messrs. Lucas, A. McDonald (Wellington), and D. Dalton (Hawke’s Bay).
Bliller-Marlboroiigb Match Referee
Mr. A. Fong, of Greymouth, has been chosen by the Marlborough and Buller Rugby Unions to referee the Seddon Shield match between the two unions at Blenheim on August 10.
