In the fastest basketball match seen in Greymouth this season Hokitika A defeated Greymouth A by 20 goals to 16. Good team work in the centre led to excellent forward play, both sides shooting well. The Hokitika defence overshadowed that of Greymouth and turned the scales in favour of the visitors in a most interesting match. „

In the match between the B teams superior centre play by Greymouth gave the home team the advantage.
