(P.A.) AUCKLAND, July 28. The Avondale Jockey Club’s, winter meeting was concluded at Ellerslie yesterday in dull weather before a good attendance. The track was holding. The totalisator handled £142,521, making £278,464 for the meeting. The "leading horseman, N. B. Holland, had a held day, riding three winners out of four mounts.
