IKAMATUA NOTES
At the Ikamatua Ladies’ Guild's first meeting, Mrs E. Coomb was elected president and Mrs R. Tru-ler secretary. The inspiring life of Miss Annie James, a missionary in occupied China, was the subject of discussion. The Ikamatua adult education group dealt with ‘.‘The Good Earth” at its last meeting. The geological character and surface pattern of New Zealand, its climate, its water resources, and its soils affect its standard of living. The- Rcefton adult education group visited Ikamatua on Saturday, and presented two plays, “The Monkey’s Paw” and “The Old. Bull,” together with supporting items. The proceeds were lor the advancement of adult education in the Inangahua district.
