NAVAL STRENGTH. WASHINGTON. July 21. The United States Navy now amounts to more than 5,000.000 tons. During the last three years 13,000 new fighting shins have been nut into action, and during the next two years 223 new vessels will co into service, including two battleships, three 45,000-ton aircraft-carriers, and nine smaller carriers. FLYING BOAT WASHINGTON. July 21. The second Mars flying-boat, “Hawaii Mars,” will be launched tomorrow. The original Mars aircraft so far has flown 325,000 miles.
