[to the editor.] Sir, —Could you tell me: (1) If the present Duke of Windsor was ever crowned King of England, or was he the “uncrowned King ; also when was he proclaimed King? I don t profess to be a know-all, but I say he was never crowned, but abdicated in December, 193 G. . r • j (2) What nationality is Lieutenant General Freyberg? I think he was born in England but real cd and educated in New Zealand. Is he part foreigner, or where does the latter part of his name come from? (3) Is Mr. Churchill straight-out British or half-American? (4) What number of years must a boy serve overseas before being termed a long service soldier. Yours, etc
