The Acting-Prime Minister (Mr. Nash) has received the following reply from Mr. Arciszewski, the Polish Prime Minister in London, dated May 7:—“On behalf of my Government and my own I think you for your message on the occasion of Poland’s National Day. The brotherhood of arms in many cruel battles and the struggle for the common ideals of justice have intimately linked together New Zealanders and Poles, and therefore in these difficult days of the present war the Polish nation looks with confidence to her friendly nation of New Zealand ” P.A.
