The weekly meeting of the Man- ' the West
agement Committee of
Coast Rugby League was held on Tuesday evening, Mi’ B. F. Connors presiding over the following: Messrs J. Griffen, P. Sweetman, Wi Meates, J. Stokes, J. Anisy, C. Stone, L. Hunter, J. Oakley, N. Messenger and T. F. McKenzie (secretary). An application by the Blackball
Club for a reclassification from junior to third grade, 0f..8, R. Smith was granted. The Blackball Club also advised that the Huntly team would play a selected team at Wingham Park on June 4 (Kings Birthday), and also made application for permission for their own junior team to play in Auckland on August 4. Permission was granted.
The referee of the Marist-Black-ball match played last week (Mr Quinn) reported that he had ordered from the field W. Kirk (Blackball) for reckless kicking, and that he had also cautioned P. Mountford and D. Kirk for similar offences.—lt was decided that W. Kirk be stood down for one playing Sunday, and that the other two players be cautioned. As the one-round competitions had been completed the following were declared the winners in the various grades: Senior, Blackball; junior. Blackball; third grade, Runangafourth grade, Brunner. Mr Stokes presented a detailed
report on the Rugby League Conference held in Wellington recently.— Mr Stokes was accorded a vote of thanks.
The meeting decided to accept August 4 as the date for the West Coast v. Auckland match to be played at Auckland, and August •; for the match against South Auckland at Huntly. It was decided to communicate with the Wellington and Canterbury Leagues, with a view to arranging matches in their respective centres on the return of the team from Auckland.
Mr Stokes reported that the South Auckland League contemplated sending its schoolboy team on a tour to the South Island, and the secretay was instructed to communicate with the South Auckland League, seeking further particulars.’ It was decided to request the senior selectors to attend the next meeting of the League, when the reprensentative programmme would be outlined to them.

up for Sunday:— Senior: Marist v. Kohinoor, al Wingham Park, 2.45 (B. McGirr) - Ngahere v. Blackball, at Ngahere 2.45 (J. Griffen); Brunner v. Runanga, at Brunner, 2.45 (P. Sweetman). Junior: Blackball v. Brunner, at Blackball, 2.45 (J. Williams); Marist v. Runanga. at Wingham Park No. 2, 2.45 (J. Quinn). Kumara v. Kohinoor, at Kumara, 2.30 (H. Bassett).
Third Grade: Brunner v. Runanga, at Brunner, at 1.30 (W. Kerr); Blackball a bye. Fourth Grade; Marist v. Runanga ; at Wingham Park No. 1, 1.30 (W Moore); Blackball v. Kohinoor, at Blackball, 1.30 (A. Kennedy); Brunner a bye.
