Mr. and Mrs. B. Miles, Wellington, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Russell, Tainui Street. Rev. H. S. I. Kenney, vicar of Petone since 1936, has been appointed vicar of Masterton in succession to Archdeacon E. J. Rich, who has accepted the charge of St. Peter’s, Wellington, in place of the late Archdeacon Bullock.

Mr. T. E. H. King has been elected representative of the South Island members o of the first division of the Railways 0 Department on the Government Railways Superannuation Fund Board, and Mr. G. Mouton representative of the second division for both islands.
