MINERS’ APPEALS DECIDED

CHRISTCHURCH, August 6. Among the reserved decisions given to-day by the Armed Forces Appeal Board were several on cases m which West Coast miners or their employers appealed against overseas service. A number of othei appeals were withdrawn, by leave ol . the board. Mr. F. F. Reid, S.M., presided, and associated with him were Messrs. A. H. McKane and G. M. Hall. Mi. W. F. Tracy represented the Crown.
