[our own correspondent.] The patriotic concert given last Saturday night by the Dispatch Foundry Troupe was a great success. The hall was filled to capacity, and every item was encored. Mr. B. Mirfin (president of the local Patriotic Committee) thanked the Troupe and assisting artists for their enjoyable performances. Later, a dance was held, music being supplied by Billy Williams’ orchestra. The local sawmillers will possibly be working on Saturday, December 7. It has been decided to postpone the “Field Day,” but a grand ball will be held in the hall that night. Music will be supplied by the Golden Hill Orchestra. . . . .
