SUBMARINE-CHASERS TESTED

WASHINGTON, December 9.
The United States Navy is undertaking extensive tests as to the 1 efficacy of fast motor torpedo-boats and submarine chasers. Eleven torpedoboats and twelve chasers are being built in the United States on the designs of the British Scott-Paine Company. It is admitted that the British and the Italian navies lead the world in. this type of craft.
