. Mr. J. Webster returned yesterday, from Christchurch.

Lieutenant Woods left, this morning, on return to Burnham.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Spence left to-day, on return io Christchurch.

Mr. F. Christie left this morning, on return to Dunedin.

Mrs. J. IL McDougall left to-day, on return to Wellington.

Miss J. Melville left this morning, for Christchurch.

Mrs. L. Reeves, Blaketown. left this morning, on a holiday visit to Australia.

Mr. C. H. Jones arrived on Thursday from Wanganui, on transfer to Greymouth, as Railways Bridge Inspector.

The Mayor (Mr. F. A. Kitchingham) left yesterday for Christchurch, where he will enter St. George’s Hospital in order to undergo an operation. He was accompanied by Mrs. Kitchingham.
