ATTEMPTED ROBBERY
ATTACK ON PAY CLERK.

WELLINGTON, November 3
Charged with robbing W. E. Parr of £250, at the same time using personal violence towards him, Robert Milton, a labourer, 39, and Anthony Bradford, a heating engineer, 25, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court to-day, and were .remanded until next Friday. Detective-Sergeant Doyle said that the charges arqse from' attempted robbery at the M.L.C. buildings yesterday afternoon, when the accused attacked Parr, a pajr clerk, and attempted to escape with the pay bag. Parr’s injuries made it unlikely that he would be in a condition to attend the Court
