The Joint Empire Societies, with the approval of the High Commissioners and the Government, have established a Hospitality Committee under the chairmanship .of Lord Milne, to coordinate welfare work for Dominion contingents and individuals enrolling •.in the United Kingdom. Hostels are being •established in London and other centres, and accommodation is being provided in private homes for leave and convalescence. .
