General situation: Pressure has fallen further off the East Coast, but an anti-cyclone is now advancing from the Tasman Sea on to the Dominion. Over south-eastern Australia, pressure has fallen. Forecast: Light to fresh southerly winds, later turning westerly or northwesterly. Weather fair to fine and cool, but scattered rains developing later in southern districts. Sea moderate.
