HITLER’S DOUBLE
MAKES SERIOUS BLUNDER LONDON, January 7. One of the 10 “doubles’’ employed by Hitler to pose in his place on occasions likely io be dangerous to the German leader, this week committed a grave error which revealed his, secret. Dressed in Hitler’s familiar brown, tunic, with his tooth-brush moustache, a man entered the famous Vier Jahreszeiten cafe, Munich surrounded by high officials of the Munich Brown House (G.H.Q. of Nazism). Word went round that Der Fuehrer was in the cafe, and crowds- gathered eulside to catch a glimpse of him. During the meal which “Hitler” ordered, however, it was noticed that he ate some Bratwurste sausages. Hitler is a vegetarian. Strict orders, it is understood, have now gone out Io the 10 official “doubles” that they must study the habits and mannerisms of the Leader] to the minutest detail, under penalty of severe punishment.
