The “Telegraph’s” Moscow correspondent says: “The army and,the Pacific fleet arc now ready to give the enemy a knock from which it will not soon recover, if they attack Russia’s frontier,” says Krntof, President of the Soviet Far Eastern territory. He added that Russia was spending 120 million sterling on the Far East this year, and similar sums were spent during the past three years.
