Nemona Gold Dredging Co., Ltd., ordinary prospecting license, 95 acres. Block 5, Hohonu S.D. —Granted. William Perry Mayne, renewal of extended alluvial claim, No. 50/31, 21 years.—Granted. Gold Mines of N.Z., Ltd., special dredging claim, 200 acres, Block 12, Waimea S.D., Block 9, Hohonu S.D., 21 years.—Withdrawn. Patrick Francis Thorpy, surrender absolutely, water-race, No. 110/35. — Recommended. Edward O’Donnell, surrender absolutely, extended alluvial claim, No. 21/34. —Accepted. John Robert Symes, ordinary prospecting license, 20 acres, Block 14, Mawheranui S.D. —Recommended. Albert Ernest Tippett, of Blackball, v. Investigations, Ltd., of Timaru,’ application for forfeiture of special alluvial claim 8551, and water-races 8550 and 8615. There was no appearance of defendant. The Warden decreed forfeiture of the mining privileges, and declared plaintiff the first applicant. Defendant was ordered to pay 17/Court costs and £2/2/- solicitor’s fee.
