REBFTON, January 24. A sitting of the Warden’s Court was held before Mr. H. Morgan, Warden. Applications, as follow, were granted: Peter Mitchell,., ordinary prospecting license over 10 acres in Blk. XVI., Mawheraiti S.D. Cumberland Prospecting Co. Ltd., (Mr. Morgan) certificate of protection covering special site licenses Nos. 7631 and 8000 for a period of six months. A. E. Gardiner, residence site license over 1 yood at Wai uta. Richard Roberts (Mr. Morgan), surrender absolute of residence site \No. 7582. G. H. Williams (Mr. Patterson) residence site license over 2 sq. ch. near 'Waiuta. Applications, as follow, were recommended:—Antonio’s Hydraulic Elevating Co. Ltd., two applications for extension of time for hearing applica- ' tions for claim licenses. E. Topp, or dinary prospecting license over 100 acres in Blk. VII., Mawheraiti S.D. M. Flynn, four/ordinary prospecting licenses covering 353 acres in Blks. XVI. and XII. Mawheraiti S.D. A. Brain, ordinary prospecting license over 100 acres in Blk. XII., Mawheraiti S;D. D. McVicar and W. Bourke, ordinary prospecting license over 100 acres in Blk. V., Waitahu S.D. F. J. Fellows, ordinary prospecting license over 20 acres in Blk. XII., Mawheraiti S.D. Rimu Gold Dredging Co. Ltd , .three ordinary prospecting licenses over 269 acres in Blks. X. and XIV., Mawheraiti S.D. G. G. Lockington, extension of time for hearing application No. 238/35 for a water-race license. All other applications before the Court were adjourned. The consent of the Minister _of Mines to the grant of the following applications was declined: —Annie Chamley, ordinary prospecting license over 85 acres in Blk., XIV., Reefton, . ■ S.D. C. A. Morris, ordinary prospecting license over 50 acres in Blk. 11, Waitahu S.D. T. S. Roberts, ordinary prospecting license over 100 acres at Murray Creek. J. H.
