IN THE MATTER of “The Counties Act, 1920,” and in the matter of “The Public Works Act, 1928.” ATOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Grey County Council proposes, under the provisions of the abovenamed Acts, and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certan public work, namely, the construction of a road in portion of Section 209, Block XVI., Waiwhero Survey District, in the Land District of Westland, in the County of Grey, and •for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, AND notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the Public Office of the said Grey County Council, situate at Gresson Street, Greymouth, and is there open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of such land, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work, or to . the taking of the said lands, must set forth their objections in writing, and send such writing within FORTY DAYS from the 15th day of March, 1934, being the date of the first publication of this notice, to the said Grey County Council, addressed to the County Clerk, at the County Office, Gresson Street, Greymouth.

SCHEDULE. AREA OF LAND REQUIRED TO BE TAKEN. A. R. P. 0. 1. 23.2 Being all that piece or parcel of land in Section 209, Block XVI., Waiwhero Survey District, containing 1 rood 23.2 perches, bounded by a line commencing at the south western corner of that portion of Section 209 that lies to the North of the Grey Valley Road; thence along the western boundary of the said part of Section 209 in a northerly direction on a bearing of 8 degrees, 27 minutes, and 30 seconds for a distance of 332.2 links, thence in an easterly direction on a bearing of 110 degrees, 26 minu-, tes 30 seconds for a distance of' 243.3 links, to a point on the north westerly boundary of the Grey Valley Road; and thence in a south westerly direction on a bearing of 228 degrees, 39 minutes, 30 seconds, for a distance of 368.8 links to the point of commencement and coloured pink on plan hereinbefore refererd to.
