CANCER “CURE”

•MANSLAUGHTER CHARGES [BY CABLE PRESS ASSN. COPYRIGHT.] NEW YORK, December 18. A Rockville (Maryland) message states: The first case of the kind opened here to-day, when the State began an attempt to prove in Court action that Mrs. Cora Britton died as the result of a “secret cancer cure” salve, applied to her breast by two physicians, who are charged with manslaughter.

The woman died last May in the hospital where she was taken after nine weeks’ treatment.

The defence, pleading not guilty, testified that the treatment was given to others with much success.
