WOLVES ATTACK VILLAGES. [by CABLE PRESS ASSN. COPYBIGHT.] (Received December 19, 1 p.m.) LONDON, December 18. Incidents in the severe European winter include wolves raiding Yugo-' Slav villages, killing cattle, and wounding a peasant, who went to the rescue armed with an axe. A sentry at Aquilla (Italy) was struck by lightning and killed, his bayonet acting as a conductor. Ten thousand gallons of wine, intended for a wedding feast, at Nagykoeroes (Hungary) froze, and was served in chunks, which the guests thawed on a fire.
