HONEY PAY-OUT.

AUCKLAND, November 1.
The first pay-out for the 1933 honey season, on the basis of 3d a lb for top white special, with a minimum of 2d a lb., to any exporter, was announced by the chairman of the Honey Control Board. The board, he said, had been able to dispose of a third of the total export of 300 tons within three months of the arrival of the first consignment, in England. Although it was early to forecast, it was hoped to return to the producers a payment on the basis of 45d to 5d for top white special. ALEXANDER MINES. Gold returns, October; —Battery department: 349 tons of ore crushed for 178ozs 1 dwt melted gold. Cyanide Department: 225 tons of sands treated for 50ozs 2 dwts bullion. Total estimated value £1,278. In addition to the above, concentrates valued at £438 were saved. Note: In estimating the above values, gold has been taken at 120/- per fine ounce. STOCKS AND SHARES. DUNEDIN, November 7.
