FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA. [BY CABLE—PBEBB ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] LONDON, October 27. Hamilton Brothers left Lympne shortly after midnight in an attempt to break the England-Australia flying record. They hope to breakfast at Budapest at eight o’clock, and will thence fly to Constantinople, where they will refuel, reaching Aleppo at one a-m. on Wednesday. The weather was frosty, with a brilliant moon, when they left Lympne. VIENNA, October 27. The Hamiltons landed at Tullia, owing to shortage of fuel. AIR FORCE PLANES COLLIDE. LONDON, October 27. Two Royal Air Force planes collided in midair at Tidworth, killing three of the four occupants in one plane, which was completely wrecked. The occupants of the other plane landed safely by means of a parachute. The Air Force fatalities at present are sixty-four, one less than for the whole of 1930. NON-STOP VENTURE. LONDON, October 27. Squadron-Leader Gayford and Flight lieutenant Brett left Cranwell at 6.45 on a non stop flight to Egypt, in a Fairey monoplane, similar to the one which made the first non-stop flight to India in 1929.
