VICTORY IN THE RHONE. [BY CABLE —PBESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] PARIS, March 29. M. Herriot (ex-Premier) has resigned the mayoralty of Lyons in consequence of a sweeping Socialist victory in the primary elections, for senators representing the Rhone department. The victory of the Socialists is due to the breaking up of the old alliance with the Radical Socialists, of which M. Herriot is the leader.
