LEAGUE FOOTBALL
COMPETITION MATCHES.
The Knock-out Cup competitions will be continued in the League code to-morrow. At Wingha mPark Marist and Nelson Creek Seniors will provide the main attraction, but the Third Grade match between Marist and Runanga promises to be th emore interesting fixture, as these two teams are evenly matched, and the players have a good knowledge of the open game, which is so attractive to the public. Blackball and Runanga seniors meet at Dunollie, while other grade fixtures will be decided at Ngahere and Rapahoe.
Marist junior grade team to meet Waiuta at Waiuta for the O’Donnell Challenge Cup:—August, Williams, Flaherty, Murphy, Atkinson, Meates, Anisy, O’Leary, O’Brien, Gilbert, Simmonds, T. Ryall, Restieaux. Reserves: Harrison, W. Ryall. Bus leaves 10 a.m.
Marist Thirds to play Runanga on Sunday. Roberts, Quinn, Beban, Sweetman, O’Leary, Brown, Burger, Moore, Lord (2), Ruane, Duffy, Weir. All players to be at Park at 1.15 p.m.
