As the result of the increased duties placed on tobacco, cigars and, cigarettes by the Federal Ministry, all retail prices were raised to-day. NEW POLITICAL PARTY. SYDNEY, December 3. Great enthusiasm, at Chatswood Town Hall marked the founding of the new political party, known as the Australian Party. Members of the new party, led by Mr. W. M. Hughes, are the insurgent Nationalist members, Messrs. Maxwell, Marks, Duncan and Greene.
