SARRON DEFEATS JONES. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, December 2. The seconds of Jack Jones, of Wales, skied the towel to-night in the tenth round of a fifteen-round bout with Pete Sarron, the American featherweight. Jones faded away in the tenth round, and he was down for counts of eight, nine, and eight,-before his seconds entered the ring. It was announced that Billy Grime and Pete Sarron will meet at Wellington on December 17.
