GIANT BOXER’S DIET

CARNERA USES TWO BEDS. Primo Camera, the giant Italian boxer who defeated'“Young? Stribling in London recently, apparently eats according to his proportions. It is believed that the London hotel staff was not exactly sorry when he left for his training camp. E[e ate as much food at a.meal' as two men, and there was scarcely a chair on which he could sit in comfort. To provide him with adequate sleeping accommodation .two double beds were placed side by side, so that he could sleep crosswise with one set of bed clothes for his body and the other covering his legs. Before he left Camera said there was not much happiness in being the world’s biggest boxer. At the luncheon table for instance, he had to spreadeagle his legs, bfecause from the knee downwards they were higher than the table. Camera said: “I cannot enter a shop and buy clothing like an ordinary man. Nothing fits me. Everything must be specially made. I wear a 21in collar, a size 16 boot, and a jacket measuring 58in round the chest. “Everywhere I go I am stared at—in Paris crowds of small boys follow me. I cannot take a theatre stall, because the seat is too small for me. For the same reason I am unable to ride on top of an omnibus, and it is only with difficulty that 1 can squeeze into the average car,.’* lie has a chest measurement of 54in. (normal), is 64in. round the shoulders, and has a forearm IGin...round the thickest part. He has a brother, aged 16, who stands 6ft. 3in., weighs 15st., and is growing fast.
