OPERAHOUSE At the Opera House to-night, the Selznick special attraction “Woman to Woman,” starring Betty Compson, will be the star feature to be shown. The plot centres around the love which suddenly flames into the life of the child-like little French dancer, Louise Boucher. It turns her into a woman—beautiful, trusting, self-sacrificing. Unlike most stories and plays, “Woman to Woman” can boast of no villain. The full orchestra will be in attendance and the usual prices will prevail. WEDNESDAY. A corking good picture is Goldwyn’s film version of Austin Strong’s successful stage play, “Three ' Wise Fools,” coming on Wednesday to the Opera House. It has been directed by King Vidor with all of his feeling for actuality. Its story is that of three old bachelors who agree to take charge of the grown daughter of the girl who had Rejected the love of all three in their youth. Comedy complications ensue fast and furious and soon become interwoven in a series of dramatic incidents which are solved happily for all concerned after the girl has been jailed on a charge of aiding and abetting three criminals to break out of prison. The cast is of the kind that Goldwyn has accustomed picture-goers to expect.
